In 2009, we’re getting even more proficient. We’re now typically seeing page 1 results in the first 6 to 9 months, some even faster. I just completed the quarterly Status Report for a client that began a campaign in June for 3 keyword phrases. In 3 months, 2 of the phrases are now page 1, position 1 on Google. The third phrase, which gets 50 times the traffic as the first two phrases, is at the top of the page 2 rankings. It’s traffic growth curve suggests it will be on page 1 by the end of September.
